hy! welcome to guide tricks today i am going to show you How To Add Your Own Text Shortcut To Windows Run Dialogue Box, ll versions of Windows come with tons of features to make them more and more comfortable and easy to use. In making Windows comfortable, shortcuts plays very important role. Most handy shortcuts are The Text Shortcuts used at Run Dialogue Box. You just need to open “Run” of your Windows using Win+R keys and then use these shortcuts. Like, to open Windows Calculator, you just need to enter ‘calc’ here, to open command prompt, cmd; Microsoft Office WordPad, winword etc. These text shortcuts make it very easy to open these programs. So, if you run your Programs, Games, Applications etc using these text shortcuts from Run Dialogue Box then your task will become very easy.

 But, however, text shortcuts runs only for .EXE executable files from their names but, you can’t run them only by typing their names as unlike other windows programs, these are not pre-defined. o, if you want to create and add your own text shortcuts, you just need to make shortcut of the main .EXE file’s at: C:WindowsSystem32 Your shortcut should not contain any special character or space. Make the shortcut name simple and small as you are likely to make your task much simpler. 😉 Now, when you open Run dialogue box using Windows+R Keys and type that name, your program will run. For e.g., you can run Netbeans directly by making it’s shortcut ‘netbean‘ at system32 folder and typing netbean at Run Dialogue Box. I am using this for many of my Application, Programs like FileZilla, Turbo C++, Mario, DMC etc 🙂
